Colorado Capital Funding opportunities your business may be missing out on: Exploring State Funding Opportunities for Businesses across Colorado

Most business owners in Colorado are leaving money on the table…not because the capital isn’t there, but because they don’t know about it. This panel will explore different Colorado-specific capital opportunities that could make a serious difference in your business and how to apply for it. If you are interested in these funding opportunities but not yet ready to apply, we’ll also cover technical resources to help you get application-ready. Attendees will walk away with a “program-fit” worksheet that will identify which funding sources their business should apply to and what materials they need to gather in order to apply.

This panel will take place in person during West Slope Startup Week in Durango and will explore Colorado-specific funding opportunities that could make a meaningful difference for your business, how to find the ones that fit, and what it takes to apply. For those not yet ready to apply, the session also covers technical resources to help you get there.

Kiki Hooton moderates a conversation with panelists who work directly with these funding sources and the businesses that access them.

You’ll walk away with:

  • A complete overview of state funding opportunities available to Colorado businesses
  • A program-fit worksheet to identify which funding sources your business should apply to
  • A list of technical resources to help you get application-ready
  • A clear picture of what materials you need to gather to apply

This session is for founders and business owners at the idea, launch, and growth stage who want to understand what Colorado capital is available to them and whether their business qualifies.

Moderator:

  • Kiki Hooton, Owner, Jackalope Events

Panelists:

  • Jamie Finney, Howdy Partners
  • Sonya Guram, Colorado Office of Economic Development and Trade (OEDIT)
