The Startup Colorado Advisor Network invites you to play a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of rural founders across our state. By joining this network, you’ll share your expertise and insights with driven entrepreneurs and small business owners, providing them with the strategic guidance and support they need to succeed. Whether you’re an experienced entrepreneur, investor, business professional, or community leader, your involvement will be crucial in strengthening our rural startup communities and driving sustainable growth.

There are two primary ways to tap into our Network, each offering different levels of engagement:

Strategic Advisors:

• Role: These are experienced generalists or subject matter experts who provide advisory sessions to founders.
• Benefits: Opportunity to be featured on the Startup Colorado blog, exclusive Startup Colorado Advisor badge.
• Commitment: Apply and be accepted. Minimum 12-month commitment, with a requirement to participate in at least one founder session per year and review founder videos.

Community Advisors

• Role: Primarily focused on reviewing founder videos, these advisors include local service providers, academics, government officials, and retirees. They engage with founders to either identify potential clients or give back to the Colorado entrepreneurial ecosystem.
• Commitment: Review at least 12 founder videos annually.
