Each month, the Rural Women in Entrepreneurship group inside the Startup Colorado Community gathers to have a virtual networking conversation. This hour is casual, fun, and easy to drop into. We talk about what we’re currently working on, share our stories, and pool our resources to help each other get to that ‘next step’ on the long entrepreneurial road ahead.
The format is simple:
- 15–20 minute talk from Daniella Place
- Rounds of 1:1 connections with other community members
- Come and meet fellow women entrepreneurs from all over the state to discuss current topics and trends in business
About our co-host:
Daniella Place is the founder of Kids In Town, a fast-growing platform helping locals and visitors in Steamboat Springs discover family-friendly events and activities. The service combines curated event listings, original content, concierge offerings for visiting families, and an AI-powered chatbot that makes it easy to find activities by age, interest, or date.
Previously, Daniella spent over a decade at Google and later led Product Operations at Oyster and Remote, where she specialized in scaling global teams, streamlining workflows, and driving cross-functional growth. These experiences have been foundational in shaping Kids In Town into a scalable, tech-enabled community resource. Looking ahead, she is positioning Kids In Town to become the go-to platform for locals and tourist families in mountain towns across Colorado and beyond.
Free and open to all Colorado women working in business and business support.
