READY, SET... PITCH!
Startup Colorado has high-quality pitch programming designed to elevate rural voices through tailored workshops, accessible pitch opportunities, and signature in-person events. Our programs aren’t just about the competition—they’re a launchpad for growth.
We offer quarterly Pitch Workshops to help you sharpen your narrative and virtual Demo Days where you can pitch to a panel of judges and the community. These programs provide the visibility, connections, and strategic support you need to take the next step.
Are you ready to make your mark?
SPOTLIGHTING RURAL INNOVATION
We believe the next big idea can come from anywhere—even the smallest towns. That’s why Startup Colorado developed pitch programming dedicated to elevating rural founders and proving that bold ideas and scalable businesses are being built in every corner of Colorado.
Founders headquartered in rural Colorado are invited to step into the spotlight and share what they’re building. Read about our past events to discover what is possible through our workshops and pitch events.
Pitch programming is for YOU, if:
- You’re a rural founder with traction and a clear vision for growth.

- You’re ready to articulate your next business milestones—and how funding will help get you there.
- You’re looking for more than just capital, seeing the value in visibility, mentorship, and meaningful connections.
- You’re scaling with intention, whether it’s expanding locally or growing across regions.
- You want to be part of a supportive, founder-focused event that celebrates rural innovation.
- You are ready to share your ideas with other founders and funding partners; knowing that a strong network is worth more than a prize.

UPCOMING PITCH WORKSHOPS
- Wednesday, May 6th | 12-1pm | via Zoom
>> Virtual Demo Days
Our Demo Days event is a quarterly virtual pitch opportunity for Colorado founders to present their businesses to a panel of judges and an audience of community members. Each founder delivers a four-minute pitch, followed by three minutes of questions and brief feedback from the judges. Companies are scored on a simple one-to-five scale, and a top-performing pitch is announced at the end of the event.
Founders selected to pitch will compete for:
Cash Awards: Direct funding to help grow your business.
In-Kind Support: Professional services that may include legal support, mentorship, and marketing packages.
Exposure: A streamlined pitching experience and feedback from the rural startup community.
Demo Days are designed to offer meaningful exposure and clear feedback without the pressure of a full competition. **Founders must apply for Demo Days, as we only select five participants each quarter.
