DESCRIPTION:Colorado Capital: Funding Opportunities You May Be Missing Out On – Colorado Startup Loan Fund (CSLF) with RMMFI \nThursday\, August 20th | 9am-10am \nMost business owners in Colorado are leaving money on the table…not because the capital isn’t there\, but because they don’t know about it. This workshop series is here to change that.  Each session will explore different Colorado-specific capital opportunities that could make a serious difference in your business and how to apply for it. \n In this third session\, we will explore the Colorado Startup Loan Fund\, which is deployed by Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and non-profit lenders across the state\, like Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute (RMMFI). RMMFI will provide a simple\, actionable framework for thinking through business readiness\, customer validation\, pricing\, financial basics\, and preparing for future growth. We’ll also touch on what it means to be “launch-ready” and “capital-ready\,” along with how community-based CDFI lending can differ from traditional financing options. Finally\, we will walk business owners through the program fit worksheet\, and how to determine if a CSLF program is right for them. \nAbout our presenter: Taylor Littrell is the Statewide English Program Coordinator at Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute and is based in Trinidad\, Colorado. They work closely with entrepreneurs and rural business owners across the state\, supporting them through mentorship\, microlending\, and community-based education programs.
