DESCRIPTION:Writing can be a lonely endeavor (and some of us like it that way)! But finding community\, exchanging ideas\, and bemoaning pitching tales of woe can make the journey a lot more sustainable. \nIf you’re currently working on a book\, join us for a lightly guided discussion designed to help you connect with other writers. Who knows\, you may even find new beta readers or a collaborative partner. \nThe meetup is organized by Startup Colorado’s Director of Communications and “aspiring author\,” Margaret Hedderman. \nWe’ll be joined by co-host Andrew Kenrick\, author of Rex Juba\, which is out next month from Penguin/Torva. He has been an editor for 20 years and is the founder and editor-in-chief of Hinterland. Andrew has also taught publishing\, creative nonfiction\, and biography at the University of East Anglia\, City Lit\, and the University of Cambridge. \nAndrew will share his publishing journey and be ready to answer your questions. \nRSVP HERE \nThis meetup will bring authors from around the world together.
