SUMMARY:Rural Women in Entrepreneurship // November Meetup
DESCRIPTION:Each month\, the Rural Women in Entrepreneurship group inside the Startup Colorado Community comes together for a virtual hour of connection. November’s co-host will be Hunter Nelson\, Colorado Director for Small Business Majority. This hour is casual\, fun\, and easy to drop into. We talk about what we’re currently working on\, share our stories\, and pool our resources to help each other get to that ‘next step’ on the long entrepreneurial road ahead. \nThe format is simple: \n\n15–20 minute talk from our co-host\nRounds of 1:1 connections with other community members\nCome and meet fellow women entrepreneurs from all over the state to discuss current topics and trends in business\n\nFree and open to all Colorado women working in business and business support. \nAbout Hunter:\nHunter Nelson directs Small Business Majority’s outreach\, education\, and policy efforts in Colorado\, building strategic partnerships and educating small business communities on key policy issues. She serves on the Denver Foundation’s Policy Committee and Connect for Health Colorado’s Board Advisory Group\, where she represents the small business perspective on Colorado’s health insurance market. Before joining Small Business Majority\, Hunter worked as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Colorado Children’s Campaign and held roles focused on health equity\, child advocacy\, and political leadership. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver.
