Whether you are currently trying to complete a training program or degree\, find a career\, or support others as an education\, training\, or employment services provider\, your feedback will help the Transition Advisory Committee improve how these systems work together. \nOur Speaker: Katherine Keegan\, Lead of Workforce Systems Coordination with the State of Colorado began her career working with immigrants and refugees in Boston. This work led her to pursue a master’s of science in social work at The University of Texas at Austin. Since then\, Katherine has managed AmeriCorps\, workforce readiness\, and career coaching development programs in Texas\, Indiana\, and Colorado. From 2019 through June 2025\, she served as the Director of the Office of the Future of Work for the State of Colorado\, leading the state’s efforts to raise awareness about the future of work\, build digital equity\, and through the State Apprenticeship Agency\, expand access to registered apprenticeship programs. In June 2025\, Katherine joined the Office of Governor Jared Polis to lead implementation of his executive order to redesign the postsecondary talent development system in Colorado.
